Baxter

Baxter is a global company committed to innovation and leadership. Their product and therapies can be found throughout hospitals and clinics –  from the Emergency Department to the Operating Theatre, from the Pharmacy to the Intensive Care Unit – as well as advancing patients’ care in their homes.
When Lab Fit was brought in to refurbish areas in Baxter’s facility, it was clear that the highest quality work was needed to be carried out.
Following a site inspection, Lab Fit was commissioned to carry out extensive work, including new flooring, new benching, new fume cupboards and electrical and special gas works.
Replacing the fume cupboards was of particular importance after discovering  the old fume cupboards were not performing and could no longer be passed as fit for use.
Due to the specific safety standards that apply to this kind of equipment, the fume cupboards were designed and installed with care and attention, ensuring that they were in full working order and test certification was supplied to ensure total compliance.
Lab Fit also carried out electrical, plumbing and special gas work, a stage that required careful planning and expertise. By liaising with the client, this work was completed with minimal disruption.
As part of the refurbishment, Lab Fit also installed new flooring and made alterations to both the walls and ceiling to guarantee a perfect finish. The project was completed on time and to budget. We are proud of the work done to create a space where Baxter can deliver meaningful results that advance healthcare.
